Loughborough MP Jane Hunt has congratulated Loughborough-based Tarboush on being shortlisted for a prestigious British Kebab Award.
Tarboush on Market Street has been shortlisted for the British Kebab Awards in the Lebanese Restaurant category. Tarboush was recently announced as a finalist with the winner announced at a lavish ceremony in London. This is the second time in two years the restaurant has been a finalist in the Awards, having made it to the final few at last year’s awards.
Jane welcomed the news:
“I am delighted that Tarboush has yet again been recognised as being one of the best kebab restaurants in the UK. It is great to be to see local success within the kebab industry.
“I visited Tarboush last year to the congratulate them on reaching the final few at last year’s awards and was pleased to see them doing so well. Despite the pressures of the pandemic, it was great to see the restaurant going from strength-to-strength.”
