Jane Hunt, MP for Loughborough, visited Dogs Trust Loughborough to catch up with the rehoming centre’s dedicated staff and some of the canine residents waiting for new homes.
Jane was given a tour of the rehoming centre and met a number of dogs currently waiting for their forever homes, including one-year-old Lurcher, Ted, who was found as a stray.
Following the visit Celine Di Crocco, Manager of the rehoming centre, said:
“It was fantastic to give Jane a behind the scenes tour and it was very clear that she is a dog lover!
“As well as seeing our kennel spaces and outdoor areas we visited the veterinary suite and the hydrotherapy centre. We also discussed the measures that had been put in place to make sure we could continue to find our dogs their forever homes throughout the pandemic.”
Jane Hunt MP said:
“Dogs have always been a huge part of my life so it was such a pleasure to visit Dogs Trust Loughborough and see the incredible facilities they have, as well as witness the team looking after the gorgeous dogs so brilliantly. There were lots of very happy dogs, which was lovely to see and I hope they all find their forever homes very soon.”
