Jane Hunt MP met local community first responders to thank them for their work. After the visit, she said:
"I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the Community First Responders for Loughborough and Shepshed.
"CFRs can often be first at the scene of an emergency with medical skills. They work alongside other emergency services as a team and related to me incidents and medical emergencies they had been to recently. They are volunteers giving up their time to help local people in need. Quite simply, they are superstars."
